I found this hotel very odd. The front desk is staffed by nice young people with no authority. Pleasant and helpful and apologetic when things go wrong but that was it. A lot went wrong. Here are some highlights.
After checking in we wasted three hours on and off trying to get hold of the spa, leaving messages at the front desk, only to find out they were fully booked doing make up all day for a wedding. Apologies all round.
At our first breakfast in the restaurant our waitress was very rude and hostile. I asked for a double shot Cortado (we were in Spain after all !). She told me there was no such thing and I would have to have espresso with milk on the side. As if she was talking to someone who was struggling to understand her. I don't know why. It felt a little mad?.
I went to the front desk for whom this was clearly not their first rodeo with bizarre restaurant staff. We were offered dinner as compensation and booked room service breakfast and said we would leave in the morning. No problem they assured us. More apologies. Room service delivered a lot of things we did not order.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
